36 [M4F] Work Wife Applications Now Open #Texas
After careful consideration (and surviving another season of youth sports in the Texas heat), I’ve decided it’s time to officially open applications for the highly coveted position of Work Wife.
Position: Unofficial Work Wife
Hours:
Whenever life allows. During the workday, evenings, weekends… basically whenever one of us has something funny, frustrating, or random to share.
Responsibilities:
Exchange sarcastic banter.
Complain about work without actually quitting.
Celebrate life’s wins, no matter how small.
Vent about the frustrating stuff.
Send random thoughts, memes, and the occasional “you won’t believe what just happened.”
Flirt a little if the chemistry naturally goes that way.
Generally make each other’s days a little more entertaining.
About Your Future Coworker:
I’m 36, married, and a dad of two. If I’m not working, there’s a good chance I’m sitting at a baseball field or gymnastics meet. I’m a huge sports fan, especially baseball and football, sarcastic, easygoing, and much better at conversation than talking about the weather.
Ideal Candidate:
Married.
Around my age (give or take).
Enjoys conversations that feel effortless.
Doesn’t mind putting in equal effort if we click.
Understands that we’re both adults with busy lives but also doesn’t disappear for days at a time without saying anything. Life happens. Just communicate.
Kids are a bonus because we’ll probably have plenty to relate to, but definitely not required.
Texas is a plus, but similar time zones matter more than geography.
Benefits Package:
Daily conversation.
Terrible jokes.
Sports commentary you didn’t ask for.
Someone to celebrate your wins and listen when your day goes sideways.
Zero pressure to reply instantly, but genuine excitement when you do.
I’m also a fan of exchanging pictures once we’ve talked a bit. Attraction matters, and I’d rather know we’re both interested before investing weeks into getting to know each other.
If the conversation takes off, I’d be happy to move over to Telegram.
To Apply:
Tell me a little about yourself. What keeps you busy? What are you passionate about? What’s something you could talk about for hours? Bonus points if you tell me what made you stop and read this post.
Low effort applications consisting only of “hey” may be returned for additional information.
