I have an appointment in one week for up to two piercings. I'm still undecided on what to get, would love to hear your opinions.

Left photo: Left ear, the ear being pierced.

Right photo: Right ear, just for funsies. Not being pierced, as I have another plan currently in the works for this one.

So...I'm cheating on my current piercer. Let me explain: I'm traveling and discovered that I will be in the same city as a world-renowned piercer (I thought this person had retired). Knowing that this individual was a pioneer in the industry, I just had to grab an appointment. In my haste, I couldn't decide on what I wanted, so I booked the option of "dealer's choice." I booked two piercings to leave the option of an orbital available (love the look but hate the healing).

Now I know "dealer's choice" literally means the piercer chooses, and while I trust the creative process (this piercer has invented piercings that are seen as mainstream today), I'm still a little nervous to see what we come up with. I also have control issues if you can't tell lol. Obviously it's my body and I won't go through with a piercing I don't agree with, but I'm also low key expecting myself to get swept up in the excitement of being pierced by someone "famous" (famous to me, anyway), and I don't want to have regrets afterwards.

Can somebody please help me stay clear-headed here? What do you think is realistic given the space I have left? What would bring balance and not crowd things visually?

Thank you for reading!!
