Trans people, what do dysphoria and euphoria feel like? How do i tell them apart from regular emotions?
Ok so I (14 F🏳️⚧️) been sure about being trans for about a week now (questioning for like a month before). But Im still kinda unsure about how to tell dysphoria and euphoria apart from normal everyday emotions.
I can name 2 times where I know ive had dysphoria. The first was when I first found out HRT is illegal in my state until NINETEEN YEARS OLD!!. The other was a completely random time were i thought something along the lines of "why aren't I a girl?" And it made me really depressed for like 45 minutes, even though I think that like half the time in a day 😭
Euphoria is more confusing for me. The other day I was imagining what it'd be like to wear a dress, and i think I got some kind of pseudo-euphoria from it. I havent had much chance to truly feel like a girl yet, so maybe thats why I havent had much euphoria?
Ik im still early in but it really bothers me that if i wanted to pass, I would have zero chance. I couldn't pass if my life was on the line rn. Cause ive been trying to grow my hair out for like a year but it just takes SO FUCKING LOOONG to grow 😭 and even with that it wouldn't even be enough. Cause like how am I supposed to try on girl clothes in public if I completely look and sound like a boy??
Sorry for the rant there.
But yeah, how do i tell euphoria and dysphoria apart from normal emotions?
Im still very new to all this so any advice is appreciated, even if not directly about this. Thx!!
