Spectral:ONfly CF 8 or CLLCTV - Small Frame - Range Extender

I am looking to buy a Small framed version of one of these 2 models, but I cannot seem to find any confirmation online on if the TQ Range Extender would fit in the Small frame? I see that on the medium sized frames you have to install the "fidlock upside down," which worries me that the small frame wouldn't accept the range extender? I do not want to purchase, if I cannot extend the range.
