I (16F) got into a sort of arguement(?) with my boyfriend (16M) regarding going home together

I genuinley have no clue where to begin with,

Basically during our annual school carnival(during school hours), I asked him if he could go back home together with me to which he said okay

However, when school ended, I texted him asking whether he had dismiss and to meetup soon but i didnt get a single reply, so i waited for 30 minutes and still had no reply so i gave up and texted him saying "if you dont want to meetup can u just let me know next time" at this point of time i was beyond fed up, i was tired especially i had to wait for 30 mins without any updates

Then as i went downstairs nearby his class, I saw that him and his friends were doing something (I couldnt exactly recognise what it was) but they were happily laughing and I felt a sharp pang in my heart and I just left

Later on, he replied to me he apologised for not texting as he was with his friends doing stuff + he did not use his phone at all and when he replied to the "if you dont want to meetup can u just let me know next time" with just "??? I didn't cancel, and you couldve just went downstairs to find me" when i first received that message I was enraged because he doesnt seem like he cared about the 30 minutes I had waited for him

So i replied by saying its fine and the he should have texted me that hes occupied with something and needed more time and im okay with waiting i just need to know

I sent that message at 4 fucking pm.

Its currently 2am no response or whatsoever and im getting a bit frustrated but i didnt want to frustrate or pressure him ant further so i didnt send any more messages

I do understand that i was wrong in certain ways (do lmk if uw me to provide that info bc i haf ask advice from my friend who was in the same classrook as him at that point of time)

But my question is, am i truly in the wrong?? Was i overreacting
