What was the deal with Carlos
Alright, alright, To be fair, there have probably been thousands of posts like this, but it's MY turn
Ahem. Carlos, throughout his time within season 2, has itched a kind of curiosity: if Carlos was really a doctor, how could he not identify a dog bite, and trap a LITTLE girl within a shabby shed? Even if it wasn't a walker bite, she probably would've died from wound infection and lack of proper care of an open wound
I've thought about theories, and here are some I've heard
-
Carlos didn't want any outside contact with his daughter. (I mean, he was protective to the point of isolation from the apocalypse)
-
Carlos was lying(I'd see reasoning for lying to gain some type of value, but after Carver/Bum Beat Kenny he properly diagnosed his eye and did an alright job treating it)
-
Carlos thought we were with Carver(So as a player we know we weren't with Carver, but from their point of view, we're a random girl with a bite, and who knows if it was Carver, Carver is a terrible person so he'd likely use a Strategy as such to infilitrate)
-
Carlos didn't want to waste resources(Uh i lowkey made this one up, but lowkey in the situation they are at, Carlos could play off Clementine dying or turning as her being actually bit by a walker, and not use any resources, and during eavesdropping, they are constantly moving, so why not keep supplies in case of an emergency while moving and getting away from Carver)
-
Carlos didn't trust Clem(This ties into the 3rd one, but more generalized, If you think about it, If you chose the dialogue of saying you are alone, i get how suspiscious it is, where people lie for their own gain, i mean its the apocalypse, so you dont know if its raiders, or if its Carver trying to infilitrate or scout out using a little girl )
-
Its a plot device(I mean games do dumb stuff all the time to add more thrill and content, so we can play, and i have to admit, i did kind of like the shed scene, it made me proud of Clem because shes able to tend to herself)

None left, yeah, but um if you read this, have a great day or night, or afternoon, or evening, or morning, anyways, Zyovet out
