We need to strengthen our academy

While we can talk about missing out on Fernandes and tonali or signing tchouameni i think the fundamental part of being successful is generating talents from within the club which fulfill the criteria we want in a Manchester United player, someone who plays for the badge

Barcelona have been really successful because of this very reason. They have their academy playing the same way as the first team so that when they are given chances with the first team they have a much easier time adjusting. They also pick a lot of local talent which is something we should be doing too

I don't expect class of 92 levels but I believe the true foundation of any successful team is embedding youth. City and arsenal have been following this in recent years
