You want to much but tip little to nothing

I’m a DoorDash driver. For the majority of my life I’ve been an accountant. I am one of the 300,000 who had to find something else to do until I can find another job. With that said, the audacity of some of these DoorDash clients who want absolutely more than they tip is amazing to me. Because DoorDash didn’t tell you the truth, depending on location in the United States, the average pay for us, in DC, is $2.50 a ride, regardless of distances. And know that did not increase at all because of gas inflation. The only way you make money is tips. I am not a waitress because waitresses do not have overhead. My car maintenance is not paid for by DoorDash. If I hurt myself, lifting your order up to bring it to your house, that is not paid for by DoorDash. I realize that I chose to do this job, and anything that comes with it I have to deal with. But I wanna make it clear that your entitlement for these drivers or any gig economy worker is ridiculous. Everybody wants something for nothing and the people who get hurt are the ones that make ($$) nothing.
