My first " around-ear headphones"

Recently i bought my first ever around-ear headphones ( JBL 780 nc) , and i keep on having a feeling that they do not fit me or are just not ment for me . I thought of buying around ear headphones because literally all the headphones that were recommended for me, and had a good price for the quality were this type. But I keep on feeling like those are too big for me?? They sit on my head really nicely and are sturdy, but because those cushions are way much bigger than on my last headphones ( i had on-ear headphones) i keep on stressing that they are too big for me . I was thinking of maybe getting myself a headband cover but idk. Also , when i had it for the first time , my ears started to get stuck , and it softly hurt in front of my ear . Did anyone else experience such shock after having different types of headphones ? I want to know if im actually having a problem or am i just stressed about it 🥲
