Busting some myths

I stayed in an Airbnb (in Montego Bay) albeit in a gated community. Absolutely safe. Infact I had a better time than my previous visits staying at all inclusives.

I rented a car from Avis. Loved driving around Jamaica. The occasional semi or taxi driver makes you wide eyed for a minute but other than that I felt it was totally doable. I drove to Negril and Ocho Rios from mobay. Also used the car for all excursions. Parking situation is quite good. I did get pulled over once by a cops but they let me off with a warning. Apparently I was speeding.

Doctors cove beach is the bomb. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s too touristy. Me and family had a glorious time here. We had a 3 year old with us.
