She kept calling me twin and bestie in convos, she became dry when I started doing the same back to her

Aight so the thing is, I been talking to this girl and she lives in a different state, never met her.

However we talked a lot and share a lot of similar and niche interests, we had a lotta deep convos and I even sent her a gift. But thing is, she kept calling me twin and brother, but when i started calling her bestie and shi she's now suddenly dry.

I'll admit I do like her and wanna pursue but wtf man. Why's this so confusing, it's clear that even she has some interest in me but why put me in a friendzone and then get away when i do the same back?

Anyways we still talk but it's been a lil dry lately
