Looking for some media indentification help
Hi everyone, I am an audio archivist, and I recently acquired a pallet of tapes that once belonged to the late David Piechura. There's one particular tape that sparked my interest.A 2inch 24 track tape from an artist many Stones fans are familiar with. It was Harvey Mandel. The tape has 2 songs written on it, Hot Stuff and Flowers. Hot stuff is the rolling stones song, all though it is not the version on the album. Another huge discrepancy, is that the tape is dated 9-28-79. Also Mick Jagger and Kieth Richards are not on the song. I was wondering if anyone has this record, and might be able to help me verify if it is the recording I have. It appears to be a 1979 disco remix release.
