Does a modern view of a block universe imply Hard Determinism more than it doesnt?

Is there a direct link, but a kind of uncomfortable one, kind of like how linking Hard Determinism to Fatalism gets people's backs up?

Or have probabilities creeped in more since Einstein's block universe?
