Political science seniors, what should i do about internships

so i am finally done with my first year, pol science hons from a lowkey decent off campus college i'd say, and hopefully 8+ cgpa aa jayegi haath pair maar ke.

iss year toh i was like first year hai koi nahi enjoy karte hai, next year se serious ho jayenge. but as i'll be going into 2nd year now already, i genuinely wanna look into future prospects, academically and career wise. i already know that unlike courses like eco and bcom, there are relatively narrower options in terms of internships. ab these vacations toh probably i'll spend in some self introspection, moj masti obv, and dunno wtv anything that's not related to padhai ig, but next break ke liye, ya if possible during the course of my second year(which i think is unlikely but still) i actually wanna try for some internships which would genuinely be helpful

so to all my pol science senior peeps out there, have you looked into any sort of internships, online or offline. and if u have done any, how was it, what was your experience. or even in general if u any advice jo mujhe thoda direction de sake about internships or side gigs cuz by now itna pata chal gaya hoga that am pretty clueless rn😔
