Any good shampoos out there that help establish new roots?

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦² Receeding Hairline πŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦²

Hey y'all.

My scalp isn't *terribly* bad yet, but a particularly observant aquaintance correctly guessed my dominant hand because my hair on one side is thinner (the whole thing about putting your hair up and your leading hand being a bit rough... Idk) than the other. Been a bit self conscious about it ever since. Like now when I put my hair up I can't help but see an egg shape 😞

Since then I got Grande Hair shampoo, which I use on my second shampoo and whatever drugstore brand on my first to get the surface grime. I got one of those silicone scalp scrubby things and I try to use good conditioner on just my mids and ends (not as concerned about that; the rest of my hair is fine).

It looks like Grande Hair has changed its packaging, which makes me cautious because that usually comes with a formula/brand change. I don't wanna break the bank but I want something to help me both retain the hair I currently have and to help stimulate the thinner areas up front. I'd rather avoid rogaine since that's a lifetime commitment...

Any recommendations? I'm trying to avoid spending more than, like, $20 a bottle...
