Does US/INR exchange rate affect bitcoin prices?? If yes, How?

For example like usd/inr rate is 80 and the price for a bitcoin is 100$ but in inr it will be 8000 now i bought it for 8000 rupee but then after a year btc price is 200$ and the usd/inr exchange rate is now 100 then does that mean my portfolio is now worth 20000 despite btc gaining 100% my profit was 150%??

This is a genuine questions i want to ask so please tell me.
