Question about status of Wisconsin budget bill

I know the proposed Wisconsin budget deal ended up not passing, but what happens now? A quick Google news search didn't show anything from the last three weeks, and I am just wondering if that means Wisconsin doesn't have a budget/we default to the most recent spending figures/etc.

Also, if anyone has some good free resources for staying informed about this sort of thing, I would love to hear about it! I know a lot of the previously well-regarded Wisconsin newspapers have been hollowed out/are owned by the Murdoch family or private equity, so don't really know which news sources to subscribe to.
