One thing I regret about transitioning is I have essentially sacrificed my ability to join the military.. under the current president if I were to apply, join, and move to MEPS it’d be an immediate PERMANENT ban, solely because I have a history of GAHT in my medical records. Believe me, joining the military would be an amazing opportunity for me and my family.. it’s just not possible for me right now and it hurts. It’s been a goal of mine for nearly a decade now and I can’t join until the current president is out of office and HOPEFULLY the next one reverses the order like Biden did after current president left office the first time.
