Hi all, check out this biodiesel generator I've built to power my base in HV and early EV age. I've been experimenting with powerful renewable energy sources and came up with the obligatory wood-to-benzene converter and this mini-factory.

Here we have a 100% loaded pyrolyse oven pumping out 150 L/s of fermented biomass (all rates are average) which gets distilled in a truncated tower into 150\*0.15=22.5 L/s of both methanol and ethanol, which get reacted into 22.5\*2\*6=270 L/s of biodiesel which is 270\*320=86400 gross EU/s = 4320 gross EU/t. Besides, this plant produces ammonia, acetic acid and glycerol, all important in chemistry and industry. Otherwise, ammonia and acetic acid can be used to boost the biodiesel by mixing in tetranitromethane for extra 2718.75 EU/t (for all ammonia and half rate of acetic acid) and glycerol can be burned for an additional 738 EU/t. In total this is 7776.75 gross EU/t.

You can use LV chem reactors but pipework gets really crowded to the point that you will need fast fluid conduits from Ender IO sharing the same block with item conduits that supply sodium hydroxide. The fluid conduits must be fast enough so that the chem reactors don't overproduce to the point of clogging the output.

Now, the most difficult part of this all is getting the rape flowers. At the average rate of 2.16 flowers per second I needed two 11x11x3 farms with 17-23 Gr and 29-31 Ga rape that I manually crossbred from stickreed and then later duplicated when I had enough to make a separate rape farm. The wheat is grown from vanilla seeds. Screenshots show 4 wheat farms, but in reality I need more because they can't keep up and the amount in the drawers is slowly decreasing (no, I won't breed wheat seeds, the rape took 3 whole weeks to get from scratch and 1 rape farm takes 3 hours to build). The produce is harvested by LV crop managers powered from 8V solar panel slapped on top of a 1 slot battery buffer. Water tanks generate infinite water at high enough rate to irrigate all crops and slightly boost the speed of growth. Also I placed the farms high enough in a humid biome (temperate rainforest) to somewhat increase environment stats.

So, this is my biodiesel factory. If I made any mistakes, let me know in the comments. I've only played GregTech in my custom modpacks where I would automate everything with AE stuff, so this is a new level for me.
