First FULL test run of Ex Crystal River Sentry

After months of grinding, cleaning, welding, and bunch of people doubting, Ty Murray and I watch the First full run of the restored Sentry 10V2T.

This project started once I sold Ty this Ex Crystal River Nuclear Siren. He was able to get it partially running, but the bearings were bad and the motor needed to be rebuilt.

Once he rebuilt the motor and replaced the bearings, he gave the siren a nice wash and strapped it on his truck. We hooked it up to a 3 Phase generator and watched it sound off.

I do want to make an apology to Jeb. Apparently you are right about the flooding of the sirens. I don’t know how but at least most of the sirens that came off the lot has ran (besides the Cyclone) lol.

Now there are a little more work for the siren. Both the base and Pole bracket is being re-fabricated for use. The siren could use some touchups but Ty wants to keep it how it is since it does give it some style.
