[ Hot take]Asterion was the most powerful and dangerous enemy main cast have ever fought.

LOOK dont jump on me okay let me explain

ASTERION aka slow walker was very dangerous it took so much to only imprison him. Just the ending make it seem like he was a fraud.

1. It took Cassie to plan how to break fate like fate the thing that can't be controlled by the gods. She needed to manipulate events so that a fated person who is a very weak point of fate able to get VTB location and eventually break FATE. Cassie made sure her future version somehow get message.

2. Cassie gambled on sunny and others to get perfect ending.

Sunny starting a cafe and she herself confronting him that get sunny to join hands with nephis like she was not sure that things would go as she planned think about it she needs to gamble this big. how big threat was asterion.

Like she viewed one of the future like that old supreme viewed and thought this would be perfect path and set her plan so that future would follow this path.

Some people think if fate was broken how did old supreme viewed the future? Bro one of the possible future was sunny and nephis team up to defeat supreme . If fate is broken doesn't mean that future will also vanish Cassie simply set her plan to get that future i think the cafe seen was more imp then people think it was the beginning of perfect path that Cassie saw.

Okay let's get back to topic imagine Cassie had to break fate then if its not enough nephis and sunny had to go through the nightmare desert and enter the TOA to kill a supreme devil and a cursed terror while mordret had to fight against the whole humanity for more then a month so that asterion not able eat humanity and gain sacred rank.

While Cassie doesn't known anything about her plan he makes her hopeless enough that her only hope was mordret. Asterion made mordret to attempt apotheosis while being defenseless.

all the mighty saints were stealing his citadel with their life on line.

It took 5 supreme efforts to defeat asterion. ( lady weave included because she helped sunny and nephis to defeat VTB)

Cassie was crippling him while mordret stopped him from using his most of the aspect by fighting 1 v1 in asterion soul sea.

Sunny and nephis were attack him Physically with shadow bond power up.

Still he had plan to escape but sadly cassret are built different.

Even after all that they only able to imprison him which he will someday able to broke but we all know he getting his ass whopped by sacred nephis and mordret.
