The anxiety I feel when traveling and navigating food 😭

I just need to vent for a second to my people who understand.

I am a nervous wreck when eating anywhere that’s not my house.

I’m traveling for the next 2 weeks. I’m in an airport and my flight is delayed 5 hours so I’m going to eat in an airport. I brought my own snacks of course but I could only fit so much in my carry on.

I’m about to risk it for a meal. I’m SO nervous. It sucks. Taking hydroxyzine so I don’t convince myself this is going to make me sick.

I also hate that it’s an extra layer of inconvenience for people I’m traveling with. I encourage them to go eat wherever but I may not join. They want to include me but it makes me feel even worse.

If I get glutened then it’s an EXTRA layer of inconvenience for everybody involved. And a ruined trip for me

I’m truly so grateful I get to travel but damn, it’s a lot to navigate

I’m going to make the best of it and try to stay positive ✨

Hope I’m not alone here
