To preface, I know my characterization of schools as reach or target may be inaccurate, and even my baselines might be wrong. I'm classified as an international applicant so my options are very restricted.
Stats: 518 MCAT, 3.81 cGPA, 3.68 BCPM GPA
1350 Research Hours - 2 Independent Research Projects (1 Wet Lab, 1 Healthcare-Focused) - Established a medically relevant project in my wet lab and am preparing a manuscript for my other project
300 Clinical Volunteering Hours - underserved population
70 Shadowing Hours across multiple specialties and several surgeries
Leadership in a clinical volunteering program (evolved into an Assistant Director position and establishing that role as the first one at my site)
2500 hours helping out at a family business
25 nonclinical hours with 100 anticipated - food pantry
Several Awards & Honors
Multiple LOR's, including a strong physician letter and strong research PI & Advisor letters
1 gap year; 200 hours volunteering expected and 150 hours expected for publication process in research. A bit of shadowing and 150 hours for leadership expected
