I just finished watching it.

The plot revolves around two teenagers committing acts of terrorism for reasons I won't mention to avoid spoilers.

The anime is an original production (meaning it wasn't adapted from a manga), like Coss Geass, for example.

It has 11 episodes, and that many episodes can be detrimental to certain anime.

Of the main characters, I liked 9, 12, and Shibazaki, but there are two of them who didn't quite measure up: Lisa and Five.

\- Lisa: She has to be one of the worst characters I've ever seen in an anime. I understand that she's a "normal" girl, and they wanted to treat her as a mirror in contrast to 9 and 12, but it was very poorly executed. Either I'm blind or something, but I didn't see that Lisa's character had any structured development. The most they did with her was "humanize" 12, and that's about it.

\- 5: Five is the antagonist of the story, and her wasted potential as a character is due to two things: the anime only has 11 episodes, and especially Lisa. If the screen time and attention given to Lisa had been given to 5 to focus on her past and the dynamic between 5, 12, and 9, it would be a different story. But when you're introduced to her, you know that she and the other two numbers come from the same place. She's obsessed with 9, and that's it. This obsession between 5 and 9 is possibly due to the trauma they shared at that institution; they were the only survivors of that tragic day. Although the anime shows us something that would also explain why, it just wasn't explored further.

Good animation, good opening, good ending, good OST.

Shame on Lisa and 5. Also, as I said before, certain things could have been done better if they removed Lisa from the anime or reduced her to several episodes.

For only 11 episodes, they did a good job, no doubt about it, but it could have been better. Still, the anime is alright.

7/10
