think my relationship ended over a medical issue. AIO?

yesterday, my boyfriend was experiencing some pretty bad GI symptoms. acid reflux, gas pain, RUQ (right upper quadrant) pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea, hypothermia. all of it pointed to gallbladder issues, likely some sort of bile duct blockage or infection. i know gallbladder issues very well, i had gallstones and attacks for months, until removal.

he has genetic history with gallbladder issues. both of his parents, and all of their parents.

i got extremely concerned, and expressed that to him. i told him all of his symptoms were really scary and he should go to the ER.

pretty much, all he said was that he was fine, he knew exactly what was going on, and that he would go to a doctor in the morning. he said this was a daily thing (it is absolutely not) and he brushed it off as bloating (which can be another gallbladder attack symptom).

i explained that his symptoms could be leading to sepsis, or a blocked bile duct. which are equally as dangerous, and it’s not something to play around with.

he continued to refuse, and his excuse was “i don’t want to drive.” i told him he should call an ambulance then, because it was terrifying.

he kept saying he was fine, and then actively dry heaving and folding over in pain. like, what the fuck?

at some point he yelled at me after telling him he’s risking his life for no reason.

mind you we’re long distance so it’s not like i could have driven him to a hospital.

i eventually got frustrated that he wouldn’t trust me, knowing that i dealt with EXACTLY what he was dealing with, and said fuck it i won’t care anymore. he obviously doesn’t want me to care right?
