Why is rural public transport so infrequent?
I'm currently in the process of learning to drive and with the waiting list for the driving test being so long I need alternative transport options.
There's a job advertised in a nearby town and there is a train I could take from my village. But the morning times the train goes at are 6.45am or 11am. The daily start times for the job is 9am so my only option would be to wait around for 2 hours every morning I guess? And no bus link unfortunately.
Why do the trains not run more frequently? The bus times are not much better for my village either, especially for coming back after work.
