Studying for the PSAT (late October).. should I take the (Aug/Sep) SAT as a practice test?

I am studying very! hard for the PSAT so I can hopefully get ~1520 if I can. (I know I seem very delulu for saying this, but I really want to achieve this score).

I took the PSAT in March (little studying) and I got a 1310 (1280 on DSAT Practice test #4).

Now that I am actually studying (using books + probably SAT suite Qs + yt videos for difficult practice problems), should I take an official SAT in August/September (probably August) to see how close I am to obtaining the goal?
