25mg Sertraline

I have been on 25mg sertraline for 6 weeks now, still no major improvement slightly with thoughts not lasting as long but still feel like I did would anyone say it’s still early days and wait a little bit longer before upping my dose ? I tried 50mg for 3 days and got adrenaline surges heart pounding and burning sensations through my chest neck and arms. Any advice please
