Twins acknowledging each other

When did your twins start acknowledging each others existence? Ours are 8 weeks and i put them in positions to look right into each others eyes constantly and i swear they will look ANYWHERE but at each other! They look at us and make eye contact with us constantly, just not each other. I know they will notice each other eventually and i can’t wait for that moment. How much longer do i have?
