Progress lost without clear explanation 😡

My apologies if this has been answered.

I'm on Android. I logged in an old device last night around midnight that DOES NOT have Wordscapes installed, but is signed into my Google account.

When I logged into play Wordscapes on my phone, it initially gave me some kind of "updating" message and then looked like I had started over!!

Long story short-ish​, Support restored most everything "back to July 3rd”. I'm missing some coins (I'm short about 3K), my Independence Day dash got slashed from 30/50 to just 2/50, and (the one that bothers me the most) I went from 37 "shards" on Route 66 to only 13 (what I had in July 1st)!!

I have no idea if I lost my bees yet because I don't plan on starting the Tournament until Sunday morning.

Has anyone had luck getting the Mountain portrait pieces restored? I sent a screenshot where I had 37 parts completed, but their response was that they could only successfully restore complete pictures with proof! 😡 I enjoy Wordscapes, but might be done if they refuse to restore data that I have proof of earning AND without explanation of why I lost it!! What's the point if there's no guarantee that I won't just lose progress randomly?!
