Guitarists - a dying breed?

Will guitar ever grow as a hobby again?
No more arena bands or guitar heroes, most of today’s music is electronic and soon that will be replaced by generic AI generated.

On top of this the younger generation are used to instant gratification through gaming and lack attention span due to being force fed 10 second videos on various social media platforms.

I’d say it’s not a wrong guess that majority of toasted kits don’t have the patience to practice the same way many of us once did.

A third variable is obviously that there’s so much more activities competing for their attention.

Are we a dying breed?
