Youth confused by remote control?

I was at a restaurant yesterday and asked the hostess if she could change the TV channel to the World Cup. She started going through the hundreds of directTV channels one by one with the remote looking for Fox, and said 'i haven't used a remote control since I was little'. No judgement, I just didn't know that was a thing.
