TFB with Jump question

I have a TFB account and my line still has Jump. In 30 years, I have never had a broken screen. Thanks to an asshat nextdoor setting off an M100 at 10am, I now do (it scared my cat and she knocked my phone off the table).

Anyway, thankfully, because I decided to try a Pixel in Sept, I did get the protection. If I submit a claim to get the screen fixed before my upgrade date, will the fix affect my Jump upgrade in Sept? I'm desperate to get off the Pixel bus.
