Have you ever asked for feedback after a first date rejection?
I (30M) had a first date recently after about 5 days or so of back and forth messages. I thought it went well at the time - easy, good conversation, what I thought was body language (big wide eyes, playing with hair - though now I know I don't know anything about body language lol and maybe saw things that weren't there, but I guess I thought there was attraction; I was wrong.). Then got the old "you're great BUT didn't feel a connection. I mean, fair enough - she was very nice and polite, said some positive things to let me down easy and I appreciated her being honest and quick about it. I know "no connection" can mean a lot of things...
I guess now I'm just left wondering if I did something wrong that I could change next time. Maybe it's best I don't know incase the answer is "you look like a thumb in person" which is fine if that's how they felt,... guess some feedback would have helped if it's something I can actually work on and change. One regret I deof have is not being flirty enough... though was kindof hard as it was her talking non stop for like 90% of it (I also thought that might be a good sign, I guess not). Anyway, help a brother out who's feeling a little dissapointed but will just move on... curious if anybody has ever asked for specifics or is that a bad idea?
