Does levodopa (Parkinson's medication, increases dopamine) feel good?
Levodopa is a medication used to treat Parkinson's disease. It is a biolgoical precursor to dopamine. When you take it, it enters the brain, and the brain converts it to dopamine.
If someone without Parkinson's took it, would it feel good? Dopamine, obviously, feels good. But I've looked it up and there's nothing online about anyone abusing levodopa.
Methamphetamine, Adderall, and cocaine all increase dopamine through different mechanisms, and those obviously do feel good. Can anyone answer this?
