Howdy! My friend is getting married and wants to embroider his suit jacket, suit pants, and suit shorts (for the after party), in the following areas:

\- back shoulders
\- sleeves
\- lapel pocket
\- bottom hem
\- pant legs
\- shorts pockets and front

I’ve been embroidering for the last 7 years.Do you have any recommendations and tips for embroidering an expensive project and on suit material?

Thread
\- I use DMC mostly, but are their other brands or threads I should consider

Fabric Puckering
\- how to prevent the fabric puckering on the back

Stabilizers
\- I usually use heat erase pens put for clothing I use a water soluble stabilizer to strengthen the stitches.
\- since this is a suit, should I be concerned about using a water soluble stabilizer for the back?

Chain stitch embroidery/ hand/ machine
\- based on where he wants some of the stitching, I’m thinking hand embroidery would work best - but I also want to give him options in case he likes the look of chain stitch or machine embroidery. Not sure if they can stitch sleeves though.
\- I wouldn’t do the chain stitch or machine embroidery

PNW Embroidery Artist Recommendations
\- I don’t do commissions and this is a big project so I’m not sure if I’ll even take it on, but I obviously want to help point him in the right direction
\- any recommendations on PNW artists (preferably around the Seattle area) would be greatly appreciated!!

***including embroidery I did on a jacket to fix a rip***
