Who will buy the 25th Anniversary 2.5L Golf R and why?

The 25th Anniversary Golf R is something I’m genuinely excited about, especially if it’s a limited release. It really will be an absolute weapon of a car.

That said, I’m still not sure whether I’ll actually buy one. Lately I’ve found it harder to justify the price of a new Golf R when, for similar money, you can pick up a high-spec BMW that’s only a few years older. It’s a difficult comparison to ignore.

Im curious on other peoples thoughts.
