Saree Pallu covering the face, but exposing the waist

So this happened when I had to visit a village function, so this function was in my in laws relation side, and my husband being busy in his job asked me to go, though I didn't wanted to go, but I went otherwise.

So I always wore my sarees below my nabhi, and as expected I wore it again the same way. I went to the function, and as a proper patriarchal setup, all the ladies were in the kitchen making the lunch, and all the gents were outside having their lunch sitting on table chair. So I thought I have to also join the ladies, I went their and asked them, that if there is any help I can do. One lady said umm please serve this curry to the gents outside shital, can you? As I was about to go, one elderly lady interrupted me, wait Shital, is this how you supposed to wear saree. Before I say something, she continued maybe you wear it like that in city, but in village your pallu should always cover your head. I was like damn these orthodox ladies, what does it matter if I wear it without ducking my head under pallu, I thought. Umm aunty actually my pallu is a bit short that's why........but interrupting again this time is a scolded way, she said oho don't argue just wear it that way and go serve the curry. I felt a bit dejected, I went outside, and before serving just put the pallu on my head, and guess what due to its shortness, as I cover the head, it displaces from my belly, and not just a bit, but like 60% of my belly was now peeking all the gents. I sighed deeply thinking, this was about to happen. But I felt a different kick and it was like a revenge on the ladies who pointed me out, like them thinking ducking my head under pallu I am following their decent practice but here what I think I was about to go more obscene, and that in a way was encouraging me thoroughly, though it was making me only vulnerable.

So now exposing all my belly and my deep navel, I started serving the gents, boys, neighbour brats curry, but it was a two way serving, like standing before them asking if they want curry, first I was serving them my deep navel, and exposed belly, real close and up straight, and after that, that damn curry. It goes on for about an hour. An hour of me being obscenely showing my belly and navel, and ducking my head under pallu which nobody was noticing even if I had not covered my head, but now it was like I was getting poked by a dozens of eyes on my bare belly.

And to be honest, I showed it without any hesitation, like you want a view have it guys😂, that must be so satisfying of breaking those ladies foolish orthodox methods, by more open show comparatively.

As most of the guys were done, I actually a few boys, they might be from neighbourhood saying, hey have you saw that aunty, other one answered yes man,

SIR UPAR SE DHAK RAKHA HAI, AND NEECHE PURA NANGA PET DIKHA RAHI HAI SABKO

Other one said, I wish every aunty keep pallu like this, like hide your face, but show us your nabhi hahaha

I was like surprised to listen to that slut shaming of mine, which was meant to happen, I hope you got your decency affirmation aunty, thinking about that elderly aunty who asked me to do this😂
