[PC][2013] Side-scrolling farm game — boy named Alex, collecting hidden eggs

Trying to find a game I played in 2013 and 14. Details I remember:

• Main character was a boy named Alex
• Setting was a farm — home screen showed a small hut in the background with a tree beside it where birds lived
• Had to look for hidden eggs and collect them
• Funny detail: on the home screen, if you tried to hit the birds in the tree with an axe Alex would shout "No"
• 2D, side-scrolling view
• Good graphics for its time
• Played on PC
