Evening all!

I’ve pretty much made my mind up but just want to confirm my decision because this is my first time purchasing an expensive car whereas in the past its always been around 3-5k mark.

Both cars are amg line with premium plus.
Diamond cut alloys is a 2016 220d with 69k @ £18k
Black alloys is a 2017 250d with 53k @ £19k

I initially found the the 250d first and was close to putting down a deposit. I asked for a video tour of the car and in the video i found a few cosmetic damages which arent serious but the main one was a tear in the drivers seat on the base. Thats when i started to look for another one and thats where the 220d one came up.

I inquired about service history for both cars and this is where it gets interesting. The 220d has a ful Mercedes benz history whereas the 250d… well you can see in the picture, basically 3 services! By the way the 220d had a gearbox and transfer case service at 20k.

Both have decent MOT, each have 1 fail for tyres.

Even tho the 220d is higher milage and older surely its the best one out the two?

I’ve currently put down a refundable deposit for the 220d to go and have a look and test drive, also spoke to the sales guy and he says the price can be negotiated whereas the 250d they are firm at 19k.

Cheers guys!
