Hex Chemistry Not Increasing

I'm having an issue with my Hex Chemistry levels where, even though I seem to have ALL of the prerequisites needed to reach Friendly rank with each member, I am still stuck at Neutral. I've searched online pretty extensively to see if anyone had the exact same issue as me and if there might be any fixes, to no avail.

Specifically (to use Amir as an example because he's the one I've chosen to date down the line), I have already done two chemistry bounties with him, sent him two gifts (the hockey table and the 256 GPU - though, from my understanding, these may take a few days to register), and have gotten two conversations with three gold texts in total; however, all of this was done BEFORE reaching Rank 2 with the Hex, and now that I have reached Rank 2, no one's rank is increasing, despite having everything the wiki says I need. I was under the assumption that Chemistry rank will bank if your Hex Standing is not high enough, and will then apply to each Hex after ranking up, though this doesn't seem to be the case.

I also noticed an issue where, despite having previously done bounties/convos for Amir, Quincy, and Arthur, at the end screen of the second bounties I did for them, their individual Chemistry progress bars only show THAT bounty's progress and nothing else - not the Chemistry gained from gifts, bounties, or conversations. I'm confused on whether this is just a visual bug, or if my Chemistry is actually not progressing at all whenever I do things.

Do I just bite the bullet and reset my KIM, or should I wait it out and see if things fix themselves? I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong, but at this point, I kinda just wanna start fresh and pray that the progress bars actually progress this time.
