How to talk to your crush over the summer??

to recap, him and i aren’t really friends per say but we share a handful of mutual friends. I would say we’re close enough to hang out outside of school but they’re all too lazy to. we’re all musicians if that helps, but it would be weird to plan some sort of jam together 😭😭 I had a 40 day streak with him but it ended and idk if wanted the streak to end or he’s waiting for me to start it again. if it helps he’s a bassist and he’s often online on instagram, any ideas on hang outs or reasons to text him???
