How does a new LG OLED compare to an older Hisense for reflections and glare?
I'm looking for a TV for my living room that handles reflections and glare well. I've owned an LG OLED and really like the OLED picture quality but I know they don't handle bright rooms well. It's not a super bright room and I have a dark curtain on the most problematic window.
To give you something to compare, I currently have an old Hisense U6H, which is listed as semi-gloss, in my living room. It does a good job with glare and reflections, I hardly notice it. I would be happy if I could find an OLED that was as good or even a bit worse.
I owned an LG C1 so I know what to expect from glossy screens. But how would something like the C6 compare? I know the G series is supposed to do well in bright rooms. Would a G5 compare well to the older Hisense? Or am I stuck looking for matte options? The U6H Rtings numbers are good but the photos aren't great, so I'm hopeful I can get an OLED without issue. It's hard to compare directly because it's a much older review with a different methodology.
I appreciate any insight or help.
