Positive GP appointment!

Recently joined a new GP practise as moved area. I’ve been seeing so many people say how great Metformin has been for them with TTC and ovulation etc so I thought I’d make an appointment with an aim to get this. Well the GP I saw was absolutely brilliant. I have lost 5 stone in the last year which she was very complimentary of. She also told me I should be having yearly blood work done - I haven’t had any in about 2+ years. So she has sent me for a full blood work up. She prescribed me Metformin but said to start it after I’ve had my blood test so the bloods are accurate, and I’m to come back in 2 months for a review. Really had such a positive appointment and my blood pressure has improved since losing weight. Interested to see if the rest of my blood work has improved since losing weight. Fingers crossed Metformin makes an impact!
