Audio Interface / Board Questions

I need to insight and good beta from users out there regarding the connection (specifically with the intention of recording) of, say, a Prophet Rev2 or similar analog synthesizers. I have an 10 year old Yamaha MG124cx to run multiple synths into, before going into Logic Pro via a Rodecaster Pro2 that I’d mainly used for producing voiceover.

I’ve had a MOTU FireWire interface in the past, but it’s not supported anymore (to my knowledge) for use with Apple Silicon M5.

Do I need DI boxes to run synths into the board or Rodecaster?

What is the best (without blowing the bank) interface or control surface with the most options, tracking live drum set, micing guitars, etc., but getting these synths into the DAW cleanly and strongly?

Recommendations for a Studiolive? Or a Tascam Model 24?
