What are your thoughts on a relationship between a 20-year-old and a 16-year-old?

I’m 20 and recently met someone who is 16. We’ve developed feelings for each other and get along well, but I’m trying to get a sense of how people generally view this kind of age gap and whether it can realistically work long term.

For context, the age of consent where we live is 16, so this would be legal. I’m mainly looking for honest perspectives and any relevant experiences people might have.
