Not sure this the right place- question about 503 & FDA & BUD
I was browsing all the “4th July” Tirzepatide sales & there were some good deals if you want to pay for a year. But it occurred to me the new FDA proposal could prevent both 503 a & b from compounding Tirzepatide- even if its mix with vit B or other additives- if I read the summary right it could potentially prohibit compounding pharmacies from using Tirzepatide at all?(I suspect that verbiage might have been added as a Lilly/Medicare compromise & it could be part of the proposal that gets tweaked) I guess there is a small possibility that zepbound can be in short supply again now that it’s only $50 for Medicare insured. But not holding my breath.
My question is- is anyone pre-paying for more doses than you receive at once time? How are insuring you will get a refund should the FDA ruling pass before your pre-paid amount is delivered?
At the risk of starting another “BPI rush” are any of you starting to stockpile? And just figuratively- not advice- how long would you push past the BUD? Thanks
