Odd finger issue

So this just happened while I was standing and talking to my SO. I didn't wack my hand. I wasn't even bending my finger.

Out of nowhere, the middle knuckle of my ring finger on my right hand felt like it got hit by a damn hammer. 30 minutes later it still hurts but not as intense. But now there's also a serious bruise that popped up.

And when I say I wasn't doing*anything*, I mean anything besides talking. And no, I wasn't using my hands to talk lol. When I realized I had a bruise there, one of the 1st things I did was ask my SO if I was moving my hands around. His response was to remind me that when I got that sharp ass pain, HE was the one talking at that time.

So yeah, if anyone has any ideas on what the hell just happened to me or if I should see a doctor, I would be seriously thankful!
