I support Argentina.

I see them play and messi is still carrying them upto certain amount.

I thought this WC will be where Messi will play as a starter or impact sub but will be rotated heavily and main job will be done by others.

But they still depend on Messi to get them across the line.

I am not saying Messi is what he was 4 years ago but he is still comes out to be undeniably good across this Argentina team.

When I see Portugal play., it's exact opposite.

I still expect Ronaldo to play as impact sub or starter till 60th-70th min and get subbed off.

He is in good scoring form in Saudi but I think Portugal should get more mobile in the final third.

Ronaldo still can be a good finisher but it's too high of a risk to have one man always near the box and not be in play. Felix is also in form so he should have been given more chances. I think Ronaldo starts because other options are too bad in the eyes of the coach. Saying that I don't think Ronaldo will be on bench for next match. The risk is too great in the eyes of the fans.

If they were too go out without Ronaldo starting or get enough minutes then he will be heavily criticized.

Has Ramos or Felix not been given enough chances? Or have they been so bad?

I know about the elite midfield of Portugal turning a blind eye to Ronaldo many times but is there a reason for that? Do they ignore him cause they think he is not good enough?Apart from being jealous or hating Ronaldo more than your love your nation that people sometimes say.

Lastly, is the Coach's fault after getting ample time to not figure the team out.
