Twister
Back and forth on the same twister,
That's a ball clicker.
Although we've never clicked,
Is it because I'm an overthinker.
An unyielding long pause for a decision,
It was supposed to be pure impulsion.
Back and forth on the same twister,
That's a wheel stuck on mud.
With dirt all over it,
And we've never been bothered to unstuck it.
Since it still had its value intact,
And the only thing we've ever wanted.
Back and forth on the same twister,
Are we in a coaster?
I don't feel secure, but it's all you promise.
As we've lost it and regained it plenty of times,
The will to trust but not the will to love.
Forsaken and forgotten, that's how we treated love.
Back and forth on the same twister,
We've even lost count,
How much we've encountered pain,
The disappointments and struggles.
But let's not forget what we've attained.
To give up without wagering war.
